I need this tomorrow around 10 pm

Write a 1500 word paper that applies the five logic-based steps in dealing with a behavioral and/or emotional problem. Show how the emotion can be identified; the premises of emotional reasoning can be constructed; irrational premises can be identified and refuted; philosophy can be used to construct potent antidotes; and how willpower can be cultivated and used to overcome the behavioral/emotional problem.

Here is an excellent example of a student paper that applies the five-logic based step to a behavioral/emotional problem.

PHI1113 RUBRIC

This paper will be assessed according to three sets of competency skills:

1.  Communicates Effectively

2.  Demonstrates Logical/Analytical Thinking

3.  Shows Emotional/Moral Sensitivity

A PAPER = satisfies all or most standards in all three categories

B PAPER = satisfies all or most standards in two categories

C PAPER = satisfies all or most standards in one category

D PAPER = satisfies some standards in one category.

F PAPER = does not satisfy any standards in any category

The standards of assessment for each of these three categories are as follows:

1.  Communicates Effectively

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Presents information about a problem of living clearly and accurately through the effective selection and organization of information.

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Uses language in ways that clearly and concisely describe the problem.

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; In presenting this information, identifies the most significant and relevant facts, definitions, and concrete details of the problem (nature of the perceived problem, emotional and behavioral responses to it, reasoning or thought process about it) for purpose of analysis.

2.  Demonstrates Logical/Analytic Thinking

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Identifies key assumptions/premises in the reasoning about the problem.

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Identifies major irrational thinking errors (“fallacies”) inherent in such assumptions/premises.

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Demonstrate at least one method of refutation of such fallacies (that is, showing why the thinking is irrational).

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Shows how to effectively address such fallacies through the application of philosophical ideas or theories gleaned through primary source readings included in the course, the readings in the New Rational Therapy, or other philosophical texts.

•&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ;&νβσπ; Applies such philosophical ideas or theories to the construction of a plan of action.

3.   Shows Emotional and Moral Sensitivity Identifies the particular emotion/s (anxiety, guilt, depression, anger, etc.) experienced by the person in question.  Demonstrates empathy in understanding the perceived problem or perspective of this person. Identifies the influence of feelings and other non-cognitive factors on the person’s thinking. Identifies key ethical concepts or virtues that can contribute to constructive, behavioral and emotional change.
